OK, we're starting this next semester. I've tried our lecturers homepage, online tutorials, and even got a book out of library, but nowhere can I get a decent explanation of wtf it's about. I've gathered that it's not conventional and is used for manipulating strings. That's it. What type of functions does it do?…
