I've tried dropping the rate from 4000 to 3k, and then 2k, and it seems to increase the time from being connected to the "connection interrupted" message appearing. With the rate set at 2000, there is roughly 10 seconds from being connected to the problem appearing.

Any ideas? The connection is fine, transfer speeds are pretty good at over 5k/sec, and the output from pinging eddie.ign.ie can be found here

OS is Win2k, modem is a 56k external, and the version of Wolf is 1.0.0. It happens on all servers I've tried.

RTCW is supposed to be extremely bad over a 56K.
A mate played it, said lag was unnatural.
