Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    "Medion" has returned (again), this time under the name of "Phantom XP". He is once again being disruptive and is trying to discredit IrelandOFFLine enough to be able to encourage people to leave boards.ie and the IOFFL forum to go to a forum he has just started up (which he has been advertising the URL for in the IOFFL forum).

    A bit like wandering into #boards.ie on IRC and shouting "COME TO #p45.net!" repeatedly... I guess.

    I have banned his account from the IOFFL forum (partially because he's advertising another forum and partially because he was banned already and shouldn't therefore be allowed back) and I have edited his post to remove the URL's (and respond to some of his, frankly moronic, points).

    As much as i think medion is a complete tit, I wouldnt bother deleting his posts or editing out the references to the other forum. It will only feed the flames of whatever it is the mysterons think their cause is.
    As it stands , theres only 3 memebers in that forum, so i hardly thinkit constitutes any sort of threat to IOFFL or Boards. Besides, theres no problem about posting threads on www.somethingawful.com or slashdot. I wouldnt even care if someone posted a thread from p45, its a different audience.

    Yeah, I dont really care if he posts "Clic heer to see my rantings!" just ban his ass and nuke the post if you feel so inclined... I'm just going to ignore him from now on.
