    This is in part because of the errors which have been made with regard to the use of the natural plurals, euros and cents, in the English language. People have to learn to say "six euros and fifty cents" which has the same rhythm as "six dollars and fifty cents" does. The habit is hard for us to take on because we are used to a monosyllabic currency name and the deletion of the "and" ("six pounds fifty"). But in my view only "six euros and fifty cents" or simply "six fifty" will serve.
