    The Examiner reports today that band STEPS are breaking up and going solo.

    hopefully so-low we wont ever hear from them again.

    Indeed... but I would like to see a few of the girls naked when theyre in a desperate try for fame again! That would be cool.

    Better in the long run though.

    These boy/girl groups tend to be greater than the sum of their parts and once they go solo, success is usually short lived (and ofter false). cf Spice Girls, Take That, Boyzone.

    Exactly - that's five times the amount of videos on MTV and songs on the radio - they could fill an entire Top of the Pops show with ex Steps members..... something must be done!:eek:

    One of the members of 'Steps' was on Richard & Judy's show on C4 today (the mammy had it on when I came into the room) and he said that the story about them breaking up was 'a complete fabrication'.
