Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    would yea not think of breaking the programming bord down into there difrent languages. its a mess in there or even some thing like:

    server sideasp)
    client side (java script, vb script)
    compiled Languages (c/c++ , vb,java)

    what do yea think admins?

    im not an admin, but i still dont think its a good idea

    volume of traffic in that forum does not seem to warrent such a split, plus the subject header tends to give the language in question nehoo

    back to CIT for me.....

    I don't see the problem in the first place. Also the definitions for those categories aren't too clear. Some would argue that there are many languages that fit into all of those categories.

    well its nothing to do with tech already being full enough, but I say nay.

    The reason is that I've been using the programming forum since it first sprang into existance and I have never seen it have one bit of trouble in terms of things being mixed up, and as someone pointed out (GS i think) the subject usually lets you know what language is wanting to be discussed.

    soz but I think thats a resounding no.

    However were all just muppets that replied so far, just wait for a big admin type person to lay the smackdown.
