Editing mp3's

Is there any program that will allow me to edit certain parts of songs in mp3 format ? Some ripped mp3's contain minute long interludes and the such, I just want to get rid of that part of the song, the first 10 seconds/60seconds. Nothing elaborate mind you.

Go to download.com or even tucows.com [which has an Irish mirror BTW] and get Cool Edit 2000 1.1 or else if you have Nero there is a wave editing program included in it.
