Expiring pages

How do you get a page to expire if someone presses the back button on their browser to get to it.

Like on 24hour-online if you wait too long it times out, and if you use your back button the pages are expired.

I tried setting the "Expires" header to -1 but that didn't work, anyone know how this is done?

ive not used expires ever, but can you not set the value to "now" or "0" or something like that so that it expires immediately...

they are 2 different properties that you are talking about

1. 
   the fist one is an issue with no cacheing , but netscape and IE do handle it a little bit different
   
2. 24hour-online.ie uses a refresh tag that if you don't request a page in something like 3 mins it will move you to a page that logs you out ....
   using the
   <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="6; url=http://www.ursight.com/logout.html"&gt;

The boards do it too, when you post a message that page that forwards you back expires.

No Pablo I know about the refresh Meta tag I meant that when it does refresh you out, when you click the back button to get in the pages are expired, how does that happen?
