    nope, never heard of any 700's being recalled.

    Perhaps you're thinking of the 1.13ghz ones that were pulled recently?

    Yes, its true, all p3's over 700 have been recalled, due to a distortion in the space time continuoum when using spellcheck in word 7.3 . Read the full report at www.intel.com free replacement with a dual 650 machine. ESB poles are being recalled also due to reasons, which I eh, eh cant go into right now.
