Game of the year 2001 Poll

Right based on the games mentioned in the Game of the year thread I have gleaned a top ten of choices. Now there can be only ten so some of the more bizarre and therefore less mentioned games have had to have been dropped. I'm afraid I'll have to retract my earlier statement that Wolfenstein is game of the year. After playing it through fully I know realise that error of my ways and I'm going with my earlier choice for game of the year...Poking Myself With a Fork (in the eye)

I'm really looking forward to the sequel..I hear they have spoons.

Oh come now amp don't be so hard on the guy, just look at it, its in Technicolor! See how the light is reflected beautifully on the water, and the super cool two-dimensional characters give the game an unprecedented sense of realism. Why this game would keep kidz captivated for minutes on end!

So many enemies that you can pick them out of the air with a Rocket launcher........

btw: RTCW is a soulless shallow game that i played just for the name.....for shame!

IK+ is a cool game.

RTCW is not worthy of being game of the year. It's got nice graphics but it's as shallow as Serious Same at the end of the day. Allied Assault walks all over Wolfenstien.

My vote goes to Flashpoint. Such a small eastern european company has outdone itself creating that, even if it was a little buggy.

Crap.. your right It was made by Codemasters. I just got my wires crosssed with Serious Sam.

My vote still goes to flash point thou . SS was a bit shallow.
