    Also look at your bottom left hand cornor, you'll see "Admin Options"
    it has "Stick / Unstick thread"

    You can use that too.

    to make a thread into a sticky opne it and their should be a drop-down box in the lower right coner of the page called admin options. announcements as per Micro link

    Thanks, I looked there yesterday, but it didn't show. I find that type of drop down menu is sometimes 'cranky'.
