MySQL problem

hope this makes sense... trying to add to a table in a MySQL database using CFML. The record gets added, but the problem is, only the first ten or so charactors turn up. When I add records using the phpMySQL database admin it works fine (ie. no length restrictions). any ideas?

Are you sure your CFML code isn't stripping everything >10 characters? Are you doing any funky string manipulation?
