Why not make it so, when you post a poll on any board, it shows up in the polls board as well as the original board, and when you click the thread on polls forum sends you to the original forum?

I've been thinking deeply about this... (oh btw, vote you're little hearts out... its endearing the way people seem to think it has an effect on the outcome )

Anyway, I'd like a polls board but there arguments against it are:

1. It'll be a spam board (Do you like buffy? YES/NO)

2. There will be votes on other boards because they are topical to other boards.

So I think I might make it a pre-moderated forum where the mod will pick a Vote Of The Week (a relatively serious one) and we'll put it on the front page...

why not put a message saying polls only allowed on polls board, and then disable it for the other boards. but then it kinda makes it useless when you cant post a poll in a forum of topic.

Bah yer no fun at all. I don't even see the problem with "do you like Buffy?" questions. People will get bored of them soon enough. The only rule would be that every single thread would have to be a poll even questions about other polls. Think of the fun we'd have!

Trolls was a mess because there were no mods. If Polls was moderated in the normal way with the usual two mods it would weed out the **** type crap.

Anyway, try it out, see if it works? Pwease?

People love to vote, and if I'm moderating it'll be all be fine!
