Okay, are there ANY flat rate 56K connections LEFT on this island?

Or am I going to have to sell my PC, buy a hurl and get a T-Shirt saying

"I'm a Tiperarian hurler, whay hay!! :D I have the IQ of a turnip and failed all my cert's, wee!!"

P.S. I live in the Populated side of Ireland, you know. The side that if you ask a Farmer what the internet is and he doesnt reply: "Is that some sort of new tracktor is 'it?"

So, 56K Monthly charged systems within Wicklow.
    Off peak connection is fine.

But Ireland just isn't internet Junky-Webmaster friendly.

Nope, you're stuck paying by the minute for it.

    Sucks, doesn't it?

    Canada eh?

After the LC (Summer 2003) I'm planning to go to the US/Canada for a couple of months, just travelling, see what it's like over there.

personally i got in just in time before IOL closed it's doors

but i hear rumours that if you use NTL you get flat rate dialup

NTL have semi-flat rate which charges more in the day and weekday evenings than eircom etc, but nothing at the weekends and bank hollidays. Its cheap enough (about €6.5 a month) but first you've got to get the buggers to send you out the paperwork/contract.

I've waiting an age and will have to phone the slow sods
    again tomorrow.

    Mike.
