Investigate Linux/Unix and why it is much more prepared for/open to future developments than Microsoft's products. Just something I've noticed since I started messing with it, and seems to be fitting of your project's title, imo

start goin out about how bluetooth technology etc will lead to people having computers built into their clothes and...wrist watches etc etc etc.....why use a desk top when ya have an equally powerful pc in your Y fronts?
