Any WebCam fans should take a look at this *free* multi funtional software for win32 platforms. its nice and easy to use. Even a complete muppet can set it up and use it. No offense to anyone :P snag it here http://www.hilo.dk/pryme/

You could set up the webcam as a motion detector in your home, which'll upload pictures to your web-site, and contact you on your PDA! Big brother is watching...
