    Rambo First Blood Part 2 in game music or Commando. Both on C64. Anything generally created by Rob Hubbard. PC music is mostly forgettable. Although Monkey Island 2 was good in its ad lib'ness.

    Personally I'd go with Wipeout on the PS. Leftfield and stuff. Can't beat real-life(tm) recording artists for teh pumping choons.

    Metal Gear Solid. The original - although the Harry Gregson-Williams theme on the sequel is cool too.

    Anything that Nobua Umetsu or Yasunori Mitsuda did the music for - hence pretty much any Squaresoft game :) - Parasite Eve is also very memorable.

    Quake2 had some very memorable pieces of music in it.

    Old stuff... The most memorable of all is Elite. It's the Blue Danube waltz, and I must have listened to the 3-channel synth version of it so many times over while playing that game...

    Just don't tell her that. It doesn't translate well into Japanese :)

    If we're going with the Kanno theme, everything she's done has really left an impact on me - Tank is fantastic, but he stuff she did on Escaflowne is also stunning. Not the intro theme, but the choral theme music within the series - shivers down the spine stuff...

    Those guys are among the most prolific and talented soundtrack composers out there right now - right up with Yoko Kanno, John Williams etc. I just happen to be a fan, okay? :)

    One Winged Angel from the last fight against sephiroth in FFVII and,

    That and Wagner - Ride of the Valkyries are the only tunes that go with Operation Flashpoint....well those and a load of Vietnam type tunes...and some of Amp's 'tumpin choonz' woulod go down well with the T-80 crews..... :)

    Flashback had a few atmospheric tunes, Frontier was a gold mine
