    hi,
ok what im looking for is some sort of java based chat system, i.e. preferably to run within an applet. I want somthing that allows chat between multiple ppl, but also with the ability to chat to any individaul person. What seems to be out there on freshmeat etc .. is generally farily crap, any recomendations of anything ??

this is for use on a company LAN, yes its a stupid idea but it wasnt my idea.

    anyways any suggestions appreciated.
