Request for Audio/Visual Forum

As above. Poll over on Bugs/Suggestions Forum shows over 2/3 in favour.

It's intended that this Forum would cover all matters related to these topics, such as HiFi, Home Cinema etc. Main arguements against it seems to be it should be covered wll enough in Technology and it wouldn't generte enough posts. Oh yes, and it's only been requested so that someone else can be a mod.

It's a specialist enough topic to have its own Forum, with your agreement, of course. A lot of people that have responded reckon they'll make plenty use of it, what with DVD etc beginning to take off now more than ever. Oh, and I don't want to Mod it...

I'm against for the reason stated that it will be well enough covered by tech, also films/tv, and them icdg fora.

TBH, I couldn't be arsed about modding - too much fúcking hassle.

Your points on Film TV and Technology only hold a certain amount of water.

Film/TV was there to discuss programming and films, was it not?

Audio/Visual would be discussing TV brands - speakers, amps, receivers, subs, gold cables, DVD players and a range of other related topics.

Initially, I was looking for a Home Cinema but the arguements supporting a broader discussion field were compelling.

Fisting is too specific a topic for a forum, perhaps if you incorporated bondage, and scat and came up with an imaginatively named forum title, you may be on to a good thing.

I think it's a good idea, there's a lot that can be covered here - TVs, satellites, HIFIs, DVDs, and the whole caboodle together.

It's worth a go, if it doesn't work out the posts can always be thrown back into Tech.

Sound like a good Idea, as I for one am intrested in amps/ Hi-fi's/ video/ DVD/ TV etc...... However with the amount of boards I'm not getting enough time to read them all.
