Just downloaded a 14 day trial yesterday (ADSL has its perks) The game itself doesn't seem to retail outside the US yet, but you can buy it on the net from a couple of places. Very interesting concept - you need a fairly hefty PC and a fast net connection.

Choices of driving tanks, trucks, fighters, bombers, boats, etc. You can be a sapper in the British Army, join the Navy - lots of options.

The game seems to be constantly updated, adding new features, and activitaging new missions. At the moment, it's in 1940 - the Americans haven't yet entered the war nor have the Japanese.

Virtually all of the fighting seems to be around France and Belgium as of now. Lots of small bloody battles to keep you interested. One thing though - the server seems to go down from time to time.

Oh, and after your 14 day trial expires they ask you to buy the full game and pay a monthly sub of $9.99. Not sure if I will, but it is good fun. Most of the bugs that were there in 2001 seem to be gone. Minimum recommended spec PIII 600 with 256RAM.

http://gamespot.com seel the game to outside the US. $44.95 including shipping

EDIT: 14 day trial can be obtained from http://www.gigex.com - 100+MB
