    is it just me or is windowsupdate[1] b0rked?
    i'm running win2ksp2 and it work sometimes, maybe once a week or so.

    Loads fine for me there. I used it last night to get the much touted "security rollup" (no doobie in it, unfortunately) and it worked fine.

    its a bit werid for me too but only in the last month or so.i am running xp home edition

    It gets buggy from time to time Micro, and they've been having trouble with it of late (few reports in The Reg). If it happens again, the best solution is probably to delete the "engine". Let me know if you do and I'll try and figure out where they put it (can never remember).
