Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've posted before that there was a new and interesting BBC radio station testing at -

    Frequency: 11.798
    Polarisation: H
    Symbol Rate: 27500
    FEC: 2/3

It's currently under the ident NYR.

The official title of this station is BBC Radio 6 Music. Their website is at -
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/

"6 music will provide a hip, credible music mix that's unavailable elsewhere on UK radio. The all-new, digital service will go live at 7.00am on Monday, March 11th 2002 when Phill Jupitus opens the mic to present the network’s breakfast show.

6 Music is a station for people who are passionate about pop and rock music. Expect a rich mix of contemporary and classic artists ranging from The Clash through to Sly & The Family Stone, via Beck, Bjork and Public Enemy. The network will also champion some of the best emerging music talent like The Strokes, Turin Brakes, Elbow and many others.

The outstanding line-up of presenters includes musicians, journalists, comedians and broadcast legends, all united by authority, attitude and a passion for credible timeless music. Expect names like Phill Jupitus, Liz Kershaw, Andrew Collins, Tom Robinson and Gideon Coe. "

It looks like it will be missing from the Irish EPG (like the rest of the BBC radio stations), but it can be tuned in via "Add Channels".

It seems that BBC 6Music has now started proper tests and it's due for a full launch March 11th.

I think you know the answer to that one already, Smak....

(BTW, Gordon Burns is now the anchor for the BBC's "North West Tonight" the 6:30 local news from Manchester. He also often pops up on Mark and Lard's Radio 1 show...)
