anyone know any good online sites that show you about servers.
unsurprising in a company that makes the bleeding things, theres is nothing here that tells you about servers, raid cards etc etc etc.
basically im looking for a beginers guide or something similar

thats some good stuff there on raid.
anyone got aything else?
preferable on stuff like dual processor setup etc, general bios use and setup.
pre-os preperation etc.

Dual Processor setup depends on what way the hardware is built by the manufacturer.
A:
Plug the processor into slot and Terminator into empty slots.

B:
Some motherboards use Voltage Regulators that plug onto the motherboard. These allow power to flow to Processor slot/Socket. One VR is required for each processor. Terminators are not required for empty slot/sockets.

wwm i have a book on raid (its realy the book of RAID) i cant give it to you as its works (and i'm still reading it) but if you look around you should find it, it is made buy the raid board and based on the paper made in 1988 on raid tech. you should have a look for it, it is very good
