Groundhog Day again

    btw, it was Groundhog day last Saturday.. It reminds me of a quote from Derek Kickham of Esat at our Seminar last August 2001:
    Things that require heavy infrastructural development and the deployment of new technologies on a wide scale country-wide basis are not going to happen between now and Christmas. The things that can happen is to use the infrastructure that's already there - the local loop, the switches, all of the other things. Issues around FRIACO can be there by Christmas. These things can be done. These are commercial matters. This is an issue of the willingness to make that step. And if we don't keep our eye on the ball of what we want to achieve, you know, we could be sitting here with Groundhog Day next year. And that's the danger in this debate.
