Well, the drive has been running pretty much 24/7 for a year and a half now. Some bad sectors cropped up a while ago, however the computer had also rebooted unsucessfully, so I reckon it could have been a power surge, or a system crash while it was reading/writing. So no, I haven't anything really bad to say about the drive. Its still the fastest drive I have seen, and I have built many machines with newer 7200rpm hard drives (quantum fireball plus AS, Maxtor 740DX, etc) since I got mine. The only minor problem I have with the drive is that it is considerably noisier than newer 7200rpm drives, although I intend to fix this soon. The failure rate is colossal though, and I am currently backing up my data :)
