VX2’s software also collects some information from online forms that you fill out. This information is automatically sent to VX2 in order to save you the time and trouble of submitting such information to us yourself. We have undertaken technical measures to make sure that VX2 never collects credit card numbers, account numbers or passwords. If such data data were, despite VX2’s best efforts, ever inadvertently collected VX2 would immediately purge such information from its database.

jaysus thats sh!t beyond words. I'm glad I'm using Opera.

It soon could be. There's a European Directive being drawn up and passed about the Parliment now regarding whether Cookies should be banned/restricted/monitored/something else, and that could lead to a more widely based legislation regarding any form of info-hunting software/mechanisms which may infringe on people's privacy.

A spyware blocker would be the perfect spyware app ...

It could stop all its competitors while giving the user a false sense of secuity.

I hate spyware too. (And also those apps that get installed with something else and use your computer to sell you stuff)

I recently installed a firewall on my system (just dial up) moreso to block outgoing traffic like this than incoming threats. Bahstids.
