    I was thinking of getting a DVD player in the sales.

    Any suggestions?

    Gotta have multi region support and not TOO expensive.

    I have a Mitsubishi that I got in the Soundstore, Cork. It was £269 and was multiregion. Good value I thought. A tad noisy.

    I heard the ones on sale in Tesco can be switched to Multiregion with a special code that you feed it through the remote. They're supposed to be cheap too.

    I got me folks a Philips 701 for £220 in Dixons on Christmas eve. And then I said no to the extended warrenty and no again and no thanks and cheers mate but not interested until eventually I blugeoned him to death with his arm which I had ripped off previously.

    Dixons - go for the DVD players, stay for the blugeoning.
