unfortunately most of those seem to be IE specific. none of them (except linkd, align and inwindow) work in Opera 6 for example.

Yeah it's probably better to have the colour as the option in glow. I'll probably add a glow2 for that.

I think the BB codes are brilliant, but I think some of those features will be abused to point of driving the admins crazy.

I've turned off the InWindow tag as it was already being abused
/me looks at azezil and Smak.

Besides it wasnt long until some flucking clever clogs would wonder what would happen if they embedded a boards page in itself. The universe could have unraveled!

Beat you to turning it off DeV - yeah you're right the potential for damage is huge alright - anyway I've added the glow2 tag as mentioned before:

why?

It's like this...

I browse as normal... viewing Boards in Opera showing "Boards.ie AS IT WAS MEANT TO BE SEEN"...

but I always have the choice of viewing it in Internet Explorer...

which, with these new tags will be ... "Boards.ie FOR POOFS!"

... which is nice ...

... I suppose...

I think that changing the table tags to divs has fixed a lot of the problems... But the marquee is too much methinks.

Don't know if this has been mentioned before but can we have spoiler tags?

The spoiler would go in between [ spoiler ] and [ /spoiler ] and it would show up as the words "Spoiler (highlight text below to read):" and below that the text would be the same colour as the post background so if some one really wants to read it they have to highlight the "invisible" text to read it. This'd be handy for forums dealing with games, films, books, etc.
