    Yes folks, this once in a lifetime oportunity to meet yours truly in the flesh is approaching. "How is this possible?" I hear you scream? "Surely amp isn't real?" I hear others mumble. "Next to nothing" I hear Fatboy Slim play.

    And so should you, for lots o' gaming goodness. 101 pc's engaged in battle. More muppets than Jim Henson created. They're aint no party like an S Club party but this will come close!

    And if you don't go, think of what your grandchildren will think when you try to answer their question "Granddad/mother? What was Room101 like?" Think of the shame you will feel. Think of the in-jokes that you will miss. FOR GOD SAKE WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

    In order to allow this event to proceed, I shall not be in attendance. I realise that it would spoil the ambience somewhat if amp had to observe the 500 metre exclusion zone around me imposed by the judge after the LAST time I met him.

    Frankly, I think I shall bear the mental scars of that occasion for many, many years. As well as the ones around my nipples.

    How will I recognise amp when I meet him. Will he be the centre of attention and recognised from this? Will people whisper in awe, "look it's amp, over there"?Will he have a sign around his neck or neon lights displaying his name?
