It is, actually...

It does paint a very "stiff upper lip" image of our near neighbours doesn't it? Other than that, interesting uses of certain raw materials (I won't spoil it for everyone else - I'm learning) and interesting attitudes from both parties involved makes it one worth watching, as a character development thing more than anything else.
