    Is there any easy way to make these without a load of full size editing?

    I presume you mean on a webpage right? If that's the case then all you need to do is set the width and height of the image, of course that means people will have to wait for all the full size pics to download so...
    <img src="images/pic.gif" width="50" height="100" />

    Of course, the full size one pops up instantly then.
    Probably better off editing the images by hand. Or if you like write a Perl script to do it using the Gimp module.

    There is no way id load the full image into a thumbnail size area. That serves no purpose at all. And I dont know perl, and I dont want to go to much trouble. I was hoping that there might be some free scripts that do this. I dont know enough about scripting to write it myself (I only scrape by at scripts really, enuff to edit what I want of free ones anyway, or do simple things).

    I guess ill have to use some editor to make a small version of all the pics.
    *sigh*

    What you could do is put all the images into the same folder then look at that folder in Explorer with the Thumbnail view on, take a screenshot and cut that up in your image editor. Nice 'n' quick.

    Explorer has a thumbnail view?

    Although, tbh, thats approximately the same work as making a thumbnail sized pic of the main one.

    Ta anyway, for that innovative approach smile.gif
