i forgot Iris... i don't know how... that was a really good memory but also one of the ****test moments of my life (the moment it sunk in that there was no more ctyi for me... )

While all of the above are excellent songs, I have to say that the only songs that make me think of CTYI are "Time of Your Life", "American Pie", and "Iris". Every time I hear them. Oh the memories

And also I'll be eternally indebted to CTYI (and Finbarr,Mr. Cool himself specifically) for introducing me to the work of the Frames

American Pie should be left alone. as should Smells Like Teen Spirit(i refer here to Moulin Rouge<- i felt sick hearing that atrocity(sp, i couldn't be bothered with dictionary.com :-p ))

I'd personally go with "The Toblerone Song", "When the Saints go Marching In" or "Eric the Half-A-Bee" as the songs that remind me most of CTYI, but I think that's just me and Caitriona.
