Right...

Inspired by a discussion on another board, why not recount a few tales of some of the most leathal cocktails you've ever come across!!!

Here's a couple of my favorites: (Or possibly least faves!)

1.
I was in a drinking contest once. The idea being, whoever downed their pint the fastest, won! Simple, eh?
Not so... Here's what was in the pint:

2 raw eggs.
Yop.
Smithwicks.
Carlsburg.
Bulmers.
Vodka.
Aftershock.
Sambuca.

Suffice to say, I was off my ****ing head after that!
And yes, I won... Seeing as I was the only one to even finish mine!

Hmmm I was debating this one and then I go a few little msg's about it and it has convinced me. Ken what you suggested could be very dangerous and knowing some ppl they would try it and could end up in trouble and say well I got the idea of boards which is not a good thing. Please dont put something like this up again.

Anyone who was at the GalwayLAN2 would have remembered me and Ronan walking in with a crate of Stonehouse, THE single best, and strongest Cider out there!

Or my stint with Bob The Unlucky Octopus in London one time.
More than 3 litres of vodka in about 24 hours! And mild alcohol poisoning to boot...

saddlier told me this one,

he's a little fella, so after his 7th shot of cork dry gin, everyone, to preserve what little gin was left, decided he'd have to dilute his next few shots with diet coke. But when the diet coke ran out as he added it to his 3rd glass, he added the last few drops of orange juice(with bits), but that still wasn't enough so he added a bit of milk(low fat) and topped it off with a bit of water. he downed it and they quickly escorted him home before he got sick everywhere.:(

P.S was this thread inspired by my drunken antics post?

last time i was out in whelans myself and a mate decided we'd start on the double smirnoffs (no ice) mixed with half a bottle of smirnoff ice, i drink a good bit of vodka, so it generally doesnt have too much of an effect, but i drank 4 of these rather quickly within aboot 2 hours by the end of which i was outside trying to pick my mate up off the ground
cost about ten quid a glass as well .. ouchy, goddamn killer drink though.. very nice and very strong punch off it.

myself n me friend used drink that all the time... then we realised how much it was costing us and promptly stoped (college students )

It involves some sort of creme liquer which get curdled by some lemon drink and then you add something else and by the time it reaches your stomach it turns into an undigestible gelatinous blob which has to try to pass through your nether regions.

Shot of baileys followed by a shot of lime cordial does the trick i think.

Only seen 2 people try to keep them down, needless to say they were unsuccessful.

at halloween i thought i'd make myself 5 white nights at a house party. its not something i've had the pleasure of having before so i made my own version. so in went a pour (no idea of the measures i used) of huzzard vodka, boru vodka, rum, bit of tequila and a spot of gin. then i went for the white wine to top it up, only to find it had just been emptied. oh the horror!! how will i top up the drink. ah, jack daniels!! saviour of us all. it didnt taste too good and lasted me about two hours but certainly did the jobby

Last St. Patrick's Day I was in Sligo where it's rather easy to get hold of Poitín (no doubt brewed in some old farmer's bathtub). I was at a party in a friend's house and we mixed Poitín, vodka and Malibu (rum) together and it was, without a doubt, the foulest thing I have ever tasted. It looks delightfully clear and innocent - almost like water. It does not taste lke water, however. Margaret took a liking to it (well, she drank 500ml of it anyway) and promptly vomited in every single room in the house except for the host's parent's bedroom. That was fun, scrubbing it up.

the whole thing goes the same colour as toilet cleaner.
come to think about it, it also has the same effect on the mind as toilet cleaner.

I've seen a guy have 10 different shots put in a pint glass and gulp everything down in one go.

10mn later, he was still walking.
30mn later, he was asking eveybody to slap him to put his eyes back in his sockets
1h later, he was still alive!

Still, aftershock & Vodka are a fall over good mix...

When I have a few drinks in me, I always like to be in with a crowd that are up for experimenting with new drink concoctions. As I mentioned on another thread

One time myself and the lads went on a session with my Mother and her boyfriend, and it all ended right there. Coz my Mom's boyfriend is a bollox for making the most fukked up drinks. I nearly have to watch him so he doesn't put anything toxic in the mix (joking). Anyway he made this really fukked up coctail for myself, and the lads. We actually drank the first one which consisted of a lot of vodka, something else, something else, and orange juce. Then he arrived in with another one. One of my mate's passed, and it got left on the counter in the kitchen. The next morning I picked myself up off the couch, and went in to the kitchen to find what I can only describe as the Japanese flag sitting in a glass on the counter!!. There was a transparent liquid in the glass, and a perfect sphere floating in the dead centre, which I assume was the orange juice. Obviously during the early hours the drink separated, and we were left with this masterpiece. I know I have a picture of it somewhere because it looked mad.

Granted my head was sooo sore

I tried a very potent cocktail for the first time last night in the Porterhouse, Dublin. It's called a Roman Candle (I think) and has large measures of Kahlua and Sambuca, topped up with cream. I got very wobbly after a couple of them (which doesn't normally happen to me that soon). Bit sickly, but they go down very easily.
