    Does anyone know how much about the tickets are going to be?Or even what price range? Coz ticketmaster haven't updated their site yet to include it and mcd don't give it.

    But anyway thats really cheap considering its about the same price for a lot of concerts now that only feature the main band and a support band.

    Unfortuneately,Slayer aren't playing over here :( Go to vader on the 16th march,Extreme and thrash metal are so much better than nu-metal!!!!I'm gonna go for ozzy and sabbath tho

    first of it aint a sh**e line-up, simply because - "when was the lat time you had atleast four great acts on the one day???"



    second of all mcd.ie are still confirming that Slayer will be coming

    and thirdly is some speculation. i doubt very much that we will be getting the 2 day festival like the US or the UK, simply because a) this is the first time it will have come to Ireland, b)Ireland has always been dodgy when it comes to metal/rock/whatever bands, their visits are few and far between, and finally c)why do people bitch and moan when bands DONT come to Ireland and now that they are coming over, people are still bitching and moaning - sheesh what a country :)


    and lastly the line-up of Ozzy, Tool, SOAD and Slayer are what is confirmed SO FAR - in other words things can change people

    This is Ozzfest. In Ireland. System of a Down ffs. As Ph3n0m said, there hardly going to pull out all the stops for their first ever Irish date. Its a small country. Dry your eyes.

    Im left with a dilemma, go see the greatest band in the world, tool, or study for my end of year anatomy exam on the next day :(. €55 is really cheap for ozzfest seeing as it cost me $60 plus $10 for parking and $5 for each non-alcoholic beverage on a 30+ day.

    Sabbath played a really sh1tty set when I saw them (the second of their last ever tours) so its no skin off my nose if they stay the f*ck away

    Cradle Of Filth and Zakk Wylde's Black Label Society , aswell as those I mentioned earlier on, its getting better and bigger children

    Last time I was at Ozzfest in the UK it was a one day event. Sabbath were crap, Pantera so rocked
