anyway the only problems seem to arise when you hit alternet.

Yeah, it seems ok now. Earlier on though, esat just seemed to die for about 10-15 minutes. Any esat-hosted sites were reachable, but everything outside esat was impossible to reach. I guess someone tripped over a cable or something in esat

Yeah I had some weird cràp earlier too... (at about midnight), I'd get connected ok but it was like a dead connection, couldn't even check my mail with it... so I've spent the last two hours on Eircom.

From what I've heard they're re-arranging some equipment in there [iol] at the moment, so could be just a once off.

Yeah I also saw good few people die from #fortress.ie all one by one
was terrible
