    I have a friend. Hes interested in getting a new pc.

    Anything below is better !

    The spec that dell offer for 1400 is.

    pIII 866
    20gig hd
    128mb ram
    17inch monitor
    geforece2 gts
    dvd
    cdrw
    soundblaster live
    modem.. etc..


    Anyone got any offers.. ?

    I can just about match that price, not really beat it to be honest. Dell have gotten their act together on prices. I would be able to beat their price for a higher spec machine ( yes, I know thats a fairly high spec machine anyway). I could build that machine with a tbird 1200 for roughly the same price, but dell have better prices on the intel chips than anyone else pretty much. I presume that £1400 includes vat
