i had a look at the nominees at irma.ie for their annual awards
and based on some of the acts they listed in certain categories
you'd be forgiven for turning your back on the whole show.
But i guess that'd be turning your back on the quality that
struggles to sell next to the sh1t that only sells cause todays
record companies are using all means to brain wash kids by pumping shameless amounts of money into making an act seem like an essential product in their lives. They often only last a year,
but it can mean another upcoming class act being slightly( and crucially) overshadowed in that one important breakthrough year
by filling that final slot in the radio hour or music corner of the newspaper. Anyway, here's a chance to let one of our friends
below earn a little more hype,
