Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    i sometimes get a pop up window, don't know what its advertising... never bothered to check :) .... is there someone advertising on the site?

    yea i get pop ups sometimes, its more a windows bug then a pop up, the little window is blank

    A lot of free software, like file sharing and ftp clients even when not running can cause pop up window adverts, check that none are sitting on your taskbar and have a look in task manager for any odd programs.

    I seem to get these very frequently now not just on Boards, and cant seem to track the culprit down, after a spate of pop up there is usually one ie button on the task bar that will not maximise, it has to be closed using a right click.

    Yeh that tends to happen when you visit a member site of the evil that is..."Geocities". Its usuallly that lame Spy Cam Advert w/ Anna Kornikova:rolleyes:

    But also happens with a few of the freeware P2P's like Kazza. Luckily I did a custom install on the latest version because there was about 7 or 8 little freeware thingies about to be installed- Bonzi buddy and the likes before I unchecked them.

    I've also noticed IOL are seem to have introduced pop-ups now whereas before this was not the case:mad:
