IrishUnsigned launches this week with a gig played by Sutras, Berkeley and Alistair at Whelans of Dublin. Friday, March 8th sees the three bands launch the IrishUnsigned.com website - officially. Sutras last week won the Bacardi/HotPress Song Of The Year competition on Tom Dunne's Pet Sounds show on TodayFM - voted for by the people that matter - listeners. They unveil a new musical style at the gig in front of the paying public and Industry insiders. also at the gig, Berkely play, not long after a stint in-studio witht he legendary Nirvana producer Steve Albini. Alistair, finalists in last years Hot Press Plugged comp will also feature. For 7.50 euro, that's not a bad night out! Pay at the door. IrishUnsigned.com are also going to organise a competition to get members of the public to design the CD cover for Sutras next recording and the winning design will be picked by the band themselves.
