    Hi,

I'm creating a small little MFC app(Learning process).

How do I declare a global variable say m_strMyVar so that if can be accessed from any function within the app ?

    thanks,

    eamonn

Declare it outside the scope of a method and then use extern if u need to acess it from another module.

You could also use a singleton, its a pretty standard pattern.

A singleton is kind of overkill really isn't it? Still though something worth looking at to whet one's appetite for design patterns.
