Quake 2, won't run :(

    Can't get quake2 to run on this version of win 98, second edition. Any ideas?

    Did you check the power lead is plugegd in ?

    Any chance you could give a bit more information, what actually is happening when u run ?

    Just getting a message saying that quake 2 won't run on this version of win 95/nt.

    Thats it I'm trying to install the game, but no go.

    Its the crappy region protection.
    You can just copy the files direct from your CD. Take the exe, dlls and base directory and copy the tree into your quake2 directory.

    Theres a post further down saying what exactly to take.
