Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I saw a few classic films lately I'd always wanted to see but kept on missing when they came round on TV.

The Good The Bad And The Ugly - I'd seen the first half 4 times before parents messed up the video by switching channel. Uttery brilliant film. I want to see it again right now!

The Planet Of The Apes: It pissed all over the new 'reimagining' from a great height. The makeup and visuals were amazing yet Heston holds your attention all the time - he fills the screen in a way Matt Damon can't even begin to do.

Taxi Driver. I really enjoyed this. De Niro acted ay better than I've seen him do in modern films. He doesn't act in that annoying exaggerated way he's done recently in films like Heat and all those crappy comedies. one thing I didn't understand though.. the character was supposed to hate all the deptravity - prostitutes and pimps on the streets. He had what seemed to be no interest in sex. But he went to all those porno moves O_o. It seems a bit of a contradiction... did he just go to the films because of an artistic interest in them or something?

it seemed that he was trying to make up for his lack of sexual action with going to porno movies, it was his way of reaffirming that he was a man.
