php 4.1.2 is not a forum.
PHP is a widely-used general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for Web development and can be embedded into HTML.

To find out how to install it on what ever webserver you prefer, go here http://www.php.net/manual/en/installation.php

    Regards,

    Paul

    Have a look at HotScripts

There are plenty of different boards available that run on PHP, Perl or ASP with or wiothout a database.

Some, like YaBB, are easy to setup and customise, others are a real pain in the neck.

Flat file based boards are fine if you have low to medium traffic, but might prove problematic if you have a large board.

This site (boards) runs vBulletin, as do a lot of other high traffic sites....

You need to think about traffic etc...
