Any Linux gurus got a clue why my Dell Inspiron (laptop), which was running Mandrake 7.0 fine, is now hanging at NFS lockd on startup after I did an upgrade to 7.2?

Haven't looked anywhere else yet, if you've any ideas fire ahead!

    Cheers,
    Alo.

yeah sure, had same problem only about a week ago. boot from ur cdrom. dont boot into ur linux distro. mount ur linux partition, and remove the rpc.nfsd. i cant remember off the top of my head where it is, just rename it or delete it. also if ya cant get it workin try reinstall, and when prompted to choose what services to run in the install
dont load anything got to do with NFS.
