We are sorry but the name you have chosen is not available in some of the extensions that you have checked.

Domain names should be removed from the roots after 45 days, however domain registars often don't expire them, and instead choose to either to add them to their own auction sites or just let them sit in limbo. Network Solutions (the registrar in this case) is notorious for this, because their parent company (Verisign) also has control of the roots. There's very little you can do about it bar keep an eye on the domain name. SnapNames can watch for changes automatically on your behalf, but unless you really, /really/ want it, I wouldn't be inclined to use them, they seem to change their policies quite often in order to keep your money whether the domain becomes available or not.

I bet if you reregister it with namezero you'll be alright. I have a few domains with them. Or have you tried logging into the namezero control panel? I know a couple of my names were expired and I could still log in. If you can get that far you have to update your whois info on their site. By memory if you do want to register with someone else Name Zero have it written somewhere in very small print that you will have to pay $50+ for then to do this for you.

Network Solutions is and always has been a law unto itself. The organisation that should police NetSol is ICANN, and they're just as bad as NetSol. If not worse.
