    RIAA should be able to help you out there. They are experts. ;)


    look for DeCSS, + Virtual CD (supposedly) does it.

    as posted above, www.doom9.org, get a proggy called gordion knot.

    Check out one of the guides and 'backup' your dvd collection :)

    Gordians Knot seems to be pretty reliable/stable to me.

    Also the DivX 5 codec has just come out too.
