hardware problems

hello when i try and run any gl games, q1,q3 or fifa the game demos play fine, then when it gets to where text should appear, or if i press esc to bring up a menu, the pc hangs. i have a soyo 6vba 133 mobo. via chipset. 32 meg tnt2 ultra agp. win98 se. ran the via 4in1 prog. tried the detonator 3 drivers. installed directx…

hello
