    I can understand it improving bandwidth, but latency? Can someone clear this up a little bit? For starters, we're not talking initial latency improvement but improvement of sustained latency right? Maybe this is the function of hardware prefetch in the case of P4 rather than the use of dual channel RDRAM...or is it both?

    Finally, for comparison's sake, how's RDRAM's latency using dual channel mode compare to SDRAM or DDR SDRAM? Does memory interleaving affect latency as well? Am I asking too many questions? wink.gif
