Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

it's just so mindless, anyone else agree? but why does it have to be so silly??

what is the point of televising heart operations at 2am? other than insomniacs or drunk or stoned people, who wants to watch that?? i mean, does anyone specifically stay up to watch that?? do people set their alarm clocks and say "oh, i must be sure to wake up in time- they're removing part of someone's colon tonight!!!"

Why are infomercials so damn stupid? why, oh why would i want to carve through quartz, before slicing a tomato wafer thin? does anyone really need to use a kitchen knife to cut marble? and why is there always some total gobsh1te standing there going: but surely the wonder knife can't cut bread AND fruit?? *gasp* (but then again, you shouldnt be eating bread anyway if you want rock-hard abs with the ab cruncher system!)

this may be a redundant thread, but who gives a proverbial shoite??

hmm..that reminds me- they should make a TV show out of Ross O'Carroll Kelly. Roysh!

Latenight TV is not too bad, just watch americas prime time during the early hours.

Those infomercials are really funny, its the same guy and his crap gay byrne christmas show style jumpers. Isn't it strange that all the american ones now have some quirky brit selling the goods. "Look its the british guy, the ****e hes selling must be quality then"

Not available in the shops, thank god.

The worst late night tv has to be the poker on channel 4.Followed by those germans selling dildos and other sex oys on the PIN Shopping Network.

Birdman of Alcatraz was on RTE1 last night - ended about 4am. Then the feckers showed Yes Minister

    Wrecked tired this morning.

    Generally it's rubbish mid-week though

Yup, The End was great, especially Sean Moncrieff and Barry Murphy as the hosts.

Fans of cheap tit and ass telly will be appalled to know that men and motors has gone subscription on NTL.

Im watching it now, its not that bad. Out of 16 channels, there are at least 3 things on that I could watch.

Actually, I love the infomercial for the pen with the indestructible nib. Especially the bit where they throw it at the dartboard and it stays there. Because that's the first thing I do with a brand new pen - use it as a dart.
Kind of like giving your new TV the "drop kick" test.

As for Men & Motors, the only way they can get away with calling it that is to throw one car/bike progamme for every four T&A programmes. Classy.

channel 4 have some good stuff...

the best thing I ever saw was about 4 or 5 a.m. and it was one of the best made and most convincing documentaries I ever saw.... about how T.V. was damaging to society... It actually made you want to stop watching T.V. (for a little while). I just thought it was brilliant that they stuck it on so late at night!!

I agree; the end should come back onto network 2. the only funny programme RTE made exept paths to freedom.

I would just like to make it clear to all anxious M&M fans that it isnt going subscription rather my Pace box software threw a wobbly, after a re-boot it was fine! :)

Its still a crap channel mind...

    Mike.

Fans of tit and arse with skydigital should check out Motors TV[no not Men and Motors, its a French channel in the sport section].Every night after 1am they show some fairly good softcore French sexline ads.
And also-what does cars have to do with softcore porn?????? There are 2 motoring/porn channels on sky,and i know som1 in school with a big collection of car/porn magazines.Whats the link????
