    Guys,

Anyone know of any payment methods (apart from AVS) that would allow someone to enter creditcard details, then automatically be emailed a password to access a secure site ?

We're working on a project in here that will allow clients to make changes, to stuff we're working on, but they have to pay for them in advance (we got stung biggo on several in the last couple of months).

The payment can be in any currency (will be a fixed charge), but needs to be able to be credited to an Irish bank account.

    Any help would be appreciated.

yeah I've been looking into this a lot for my own site. Your best bet is www.ibill.com or www.ccnow.com although I can't say I used either of these services yet, but they both look good.

Ibill offers you are a free merchant account, no monthly or set up fees.

They take 15% of what you sell.

All in american dollars, but will send you a dollar cheque costing $5 whenever you want.

If you do end up using either of them let me know how you get on. I will be adding a pay service to StatCounter in the summer when I get time to develop it, and I will more than likely be using ibill.

Although I don't know if they accept porn sites, and it does kinda sound a little like you are seeting up a a porn site there...

Nah not porn, we're doing work for clients & they've ripped us off before by paying the original quote & then having changes made as the cheque clears so we want to be able to put the re-worked stuff into a secure site that they can access after they pay a pre determined amount.

If you're interested in micropayment solutions, you may want to take a look at TextKey.

    Disclosure: It's my company's product.
